February has been a fun month, lots of exciting things...I went back to work which has been amazing. I really love my job! Jordyn's favorite thing is to help mommy cook. She loves getting things out of the pantry and exploring different food. Kendra is a whole new baby. Talking up a storm, trying to sit up, and rolling all over. We're BUSY but having lots of fun.

Family of Four
It has been sooooo long since I've updated this thing and I finally have both kids down for a nap so thought I would take a few minutes to share with what is going on. 2010 was a busy year for us! We decided in January to move back to Seattle so we started the process. In the middle (April) we found out we were expecting our 2nd baby! The Twohy's don't stop-so we continued with our plan, sold our house in May and moved to back home! When we got to Seattle we found out we were going to have another girl-poor Sean is outnumbered! Sean started his new gig at the Seahawks in June and is loving the new facility, seeing Pete Carroll, and eating his "free" lunches with the staff. I was hired on by the Renton School District and love my new 2nd grade teaching job. The feeling of home is complete because of the school I'm at. Our house is 2.5 miles from my parents which has been a BLESSING and we're close to Sean's Aunt Diane and Uncle Chris-whom we love and cherish our times with. We've also been able to see Sean's brother and his fabulous FIANCE' more and have blended with her wonderful family. Sean's grandma and grandpa also live close. We've been reconnected with some great friends and it seems like we're a tad maturer and a little wiser (and a little more exhausted trying to keep up with all of our kids!) We just feel blessed to be back with our close family and friends. With all of the trials and tribulations we have experienced this year we are happy to have added little Kendra to our family and have found a church to explore (Christ our Hope).
Here are a couple of pictures of our crazy summer/fall. We're looking forward to 2011, I hope I can keep this updated!!

Triathlon Weekend
Kelly Twohy and I finished the Redondo Beach Triathlon. 1/2 mile swim, 6 mile bike ride, and 2 mile run. It was easy for Kelly (who by the way kicked my booty) but next time I'll be more prepared!
Ken Twohy was the best tour guide. We spent every moment doing some sort of local activity. He even showed me the 90210 condo!! 90210 is my all time favorite tv series so it was great to see the house that Kelly and Donna lived in.
Jordyn discovered sunglasses for the first time. Doesn't she look like Elvis?

On her way to 5 months old!
Well, it has been a long time since I've updated this. Hopefully I have a good excuse...new baby and getting back to work. Whoo-what a life! Update on Jordyn - she is at the cutest age ever. Talking non-stop and eating rice cereal. She is going to start veggies this weekend so stay tuned for that.
Uncle Rhett and his fabulous girlfriend came to visit us this weekend. We had a blast with them. Jordyn loves her uncle!
We also have good new on the Twohy side. Sean's grandpa's surgery was very successful. He is now in an assisted living for rehab. He is very positive and his sense of humor has returned. Thank you for all of the well wishes for him.

Road to the Superbowl
Wow-time flies! We have had so much excitment in our house!!
Sean has been very busy at work, working 12 hour days 7 days a week. His hard work is finally paying off though. He will be going to the superbowl with the rest of the team in two weeks! Sean, Jordyn, and I got to go on the field before the last game and check out all of the changes they made to the stadium for the game. And, I was able to go to the last game with my friend Monique. It was an exciting game and a very emotional win for the staff and family. We've all worked so hard to get here.
In other news...Jordyn is continuing to grow before our eyes. She reached 12 lbs at her last check up and is 24 inches long, 90th percentile for her height. We also took our first trip! Grandma and Grandpa invited Jordyn and I to Tucson for two nights. It was so nice not to worry about the house and just focus on Jordyn and sleep (and grandma's fabulous gin and tonics!). Grandpa bought a telescope so we get to look at the stars at night, it's a lot of fun.
Jordyn also started daycare. I'm not back to work yet but want to transition her in before I go. She is going twice a week until I go back which is a nice break for mommy. I get to go grocery shopping and take a shower! You sure start to enjoy the little things in life.

6 Weeks Old
Little Miss Muffin, as we call her here, is continuing her growth spurts. She enjoyed meeting Uncle Matt for the first time this week and was mesmerized by him. Jordyn is also holding up her head more and enjoying her awake time. Her favorite time of the day is still when daddy gets home, she loves to sit with him and gazes adoringly at him.
We also had our first Christmas with Jordyn. Although she slept through the whole thing, she received the most gifts and is enjoying her new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandma Martin sent her a rocking horse that makes noises! Its very cute and we can't wait until she is old enough to ride it.

One Month Old
Jordyn reached one month old this week! She is continuing to grow like crazy, she is well on her way to 10 lbs. Jordyn has outfits that she outgrows daily. She is holding up her head very well during tummy time and is enjoying seeing grandma and grandpa daily. Grandpa sings songs to her and she stares at him and listens to every word. It's very sweet.
Sean and I are still exhausted and can never seem to catch up on sleep. We're looking forward to Christmas, Sean will have a couple of days off. Our house continually looks like a tornado swept through. It's amazing how a little munchkin like Jordyn can cause so much disarray.

3 Weeks Old
Jordyn reached 8.5 lbs! She is growing so fast, it literally feels like over night. She is spending more time awake and loves to look at her toys. She is holding her head up more and able to turn it from side to side. She loves it when her daddy gets home from work because he feeds her and puts her to bed for the evening. Tonight she stared at him for about 30 minutes and smiled, it was so sweet.

First Outing
We had our first outing to Safeway! It was quite an experience but made us feel confident that we can do this!!! We took Jordyn to the dr and she is gaining weight. She now weighs 7 lbs 6oz. Her cheeks are filling out and she is so adorable. We are having lots of fun getting to know all of her sounds and movements. Sean and I are both camped out on the couch and exhausted but we're pulling through and I'm determined that it will start to get easier.
